Trey and Bridgette have been together for 12 years and married for 7. They are the proud parents of 2 boys. They have one biological son, Trenner, who is 5 years old. Solomon, who is 19 months old, was brought home from Uganda in early 2012. Trey and Bridgette never imagined they would be working on their second adoption in less than a year, but the Lord’s plans were bigger and better than their own. Throughout their years together, Trey and Bridgette can see the beautiful yarn the Lord has used to weave their story to Edna.
10 years ago Bridgette’s sister, Ali, was born with Down Syndrome. Looking back, Trey and Bridgette can see that the Lord was preparing their hearts for the moment they would fall in love with Edna. They loved her the moment they saw her. Already, they can imagine her sweet smile, her infectious giggle. Trey and Bridgette can picture her as a part of their daily lives. They knew from the start that Edna would fit perfectly into the gap the Lord placed into the Boswell family. Trey and Bridgette knew from that moment she was worth fighting for. So, They will fight for her. They will climb mountain after mountain. They will watch in awe as the Lord turns the impossible into possible. They will happily go to the ends of the earth for her. The Lord set Edna into the Boswell family long ago, now it is their privilege to bring her home.
