Kyle and Kara met in 2004 and quickly fell in love. They were blessed with 4 beautiful daughters soon after that and live a blissfully busy life.
When Kara discovered Reece’s Rainbow, it was like a dream come true. She has always been called to orphans and especially the work of Mother Teresa, but didn’t know how to help. So, having a tangible way to advocate for these children was amazing. Kara spent months advocating for a sweet little redhead, Nico, and the family committed to bringing him home in September of last year.
Unfortunately, political tensions in his country and legislation unfriendly to international adoption closed that door, and after months in limbo, they felt called to continue their journey for another little boy who needs a home and family. They pray that they will able to bring Nico home someday, but until God makes that possible, they will work toward giving sweet Colton the stable home and loving family that every child deserves. God willing, someday Nico and Colton will be brothers.
The McIntees are thankful for this opportunity and hope you will pray for them and the boys as they continue their journey to Colton.
