Hello dear friends, we are asking the Lord to raise up a community of people that will come along side of us to help bring home our newest daughter Fran — soon to be named Hannah Joy.
Hannah was born in October of 2012. She was abandoned one month later at the back door of a retirement home in the middle of the night. Hannah is described as a rosy-cheeked toddler diagnosed with Down syndrome who loves being cuddled and is delighted to be taken outdoors to feel the wind blow and hear the birds chirp. You can read more about how we were introduced to Hannah on our blog..
We know that the care of orphans is a calling for all believers in Christ but each have a different role. We are privileged to be the parents of 4 and soon 5 children, 3 of whom will have become a Lantry through the gift of adoption. But we also know that we can’t do this alone. We are asking the Lord to graciously provide the needed funds as well as the emotional and spiritual support that we will need as we embark on this journey. This will be our first time adopting a special needs child and we count it a privilege to serve the Lord in loving one of His precious and beautiful creations. Would you consider coming along side of us in bringing Hannah home? Whether it be the greatly needed funds to complete the adoption, prayer support, or calling us to check on how we are doing – we would be honored for you to help us be the hands of Jesus in giving Hannah Joy a hope and a future.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer 29:11
