Adoption has been part of the Horst family for over 12 years and has been a tremendous blessing in their lives; it has changed them forever. Galen and Yalonda carry a deep love and concern for needy children in their hearts. They have been blessed with 6 children, 2 adopted internationally and 4 biological, ages 17-3.
When they felt God calling them to adoption again it was with a huge leap of faith that they began the process. Their journey has been a journey full hope and disappointments and it was during one of their lowest points that they saw Lylah’s picture—a beautiful baby girl born with Down Syndrome and waiting for a forever family. The whole family knew immediately that she was their very own baby girl. She was beautiful! She was perfect! She was hand-chosen by God just for their family! They whole family is so excited about bringing their sweet baby girl home in a few months.
The Horst family feels ready to work with the challenges Lylah will face. They are familiar with special needs beings they have a son who is hearing impaired. They are excited about helping Lylah reach her full potential as well.
They humbly request your prayers for Lylah’s safety and health until they are able to bring her home. They are also deeply grateful to all the people who have supported them in their journey whether through prayer or financial support so far. This support is aiding God in the miracle of bringing Lylah home to her forever family!
